Xarelto Side Effects
Xarelto has been linked to the following dangerous side effects:
• Uncontrolled Bleeding
• Spinal / Epidural Blood Clots
What Makes Xarelto Dangerous?
Xarelto users have experienced serious and fatal internal bleeding events. Unlike Xarelto’s generic competitor, Warfarin (Coumadin), there is no antidote to counteract the blood-thinning effect of this dangerous drug. For example, if a user were to to have even a minor accident or fall, his life could be in jeopardy because there would be no way to stop the bleeding. There is no antidote to the anti-coagulant effect of Xarelto. The lack of antidote is what places users at risk for serious and fatal bleeds. We investigate victims’ presentation of these “bleeding out” events, on a regular basis.
The manufacturer of Xarelto, Johnson & Johnson and Bayer, failed to adequately warn doctors and patients about the internal bleeding risk associated with Xarelto use. The manufacturer also failed to warn medical professionals and Xarelto users of the inability to reverse the anti-coagulating effect of Xarelto. A generic competitor Warfarin, has an antidote that will reverse its blood-thinning effects. If it is necessary to reverse the effects of Warfarin, a medical professional need only inject their patient with Vitamin K to counteract the blood-thinning properties of the generic drug. Unfortunately, there is no such reversal agent.
History of Xarelto
The manufacturer of Xarelto, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, owned by Johnson & Johnson and Bayer Pharmaceutical, failed to adequately warn doctors and patients of the internal bleeding risk associated with this drug.
